Print, Textile Design: Blocks, May 2012
This is a Print. It was designed by Scholten & Baijings. It is dated May 2012 and we acquired it in 2014. Its medium is inkjet print on white paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.
Based on the idea of color blocking seen in painting and fashion, Dutch designers, Scholten & Baijings, created Blocks as a rectilinear composition that explores monochromatic juxtapositions. Tones of one color are rendered through weft striping and weave structure.
