Magnetic Tower

This is a Magnetic Tower. It was designed by Daniel Emma, Daniel To and Emma Aiston and made for Wrong for Hay. It is dated 2013. Its medium is ash, magnet.

The Magnetic Tower is a small, cylindrical piece of ash that is elemental in both form and function. The core of the ash has been drilled out and replaced by a magnet, allowing the user to adhere metal objects to the surface for temporary storage. The form complements that of to its companion piece, the Cork Cone pin holder.
