Bound Print, Design for a Carriage

This is a Bound print. It was designed by Johann Michael Hoppenhaupt II and print maker: I. W. Meil. It is dated 1753 and we acquired it in 1920. Its medium is etching and engraving on white laid paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.


An elaborate state coach, very similar to this design, belongs to the Armory in the Moscow Kremlin.

This object was donated by Advisory Council. It is credited Purchased for the Museum by the Advisory Council.
