Martens designed this announcement to honor the birth of his first grandson, Julian. The piece bears the name "Julian," horizontally across the center, against the Clouds pattern background along with the date and time of birth, names and contact numbers of the parents, etc. in the lower margin.. According to Martens, it was the occasion of sharing this announcement with textile producer Michael Maharam that gave birth to the wallpaper Clouds, which is part of Cooper-Hewitt’s Collection.
