When Frank Lloyd Wright’s model Usonian House opened on the site of the current Guggenheim Museum in New York City in 1953, visitors experienced Liebes textiles in every room. Textured and shot through with Lurex, her fabrics were used on large floor pillows and small throw pillows, upholstered stools, and drapes. The blankets were also designed by Liebes for Kenwood Mills. Wright incorporated Liebes textiles into his own homes and into important private commissions.
