Helmet, Unicorn Brain Interface Hybrid
This is a Helmet. It was designed by g.tec medical engineering.
This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Samuel Stubblefield as part of Design and Healing: Creative Responses to Epidemics.
Brain wave sensors can be used to design brain-controlled product interfaces, which allow hands-free interactions with technology, as well as artworks and data visualizations. The Unicorn, a device intended for artistic research, contributes to the growing use of wearable sensors in health care.
