Sampler (England)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Elizabeth Thurston and school of Judith Hayle. We acquired it in 2003. Its medium is silk embroidery on linen foundation and its technique is embroidered on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles Department department.
