This is a covered dish. It was manufactured by Elsterwerda. It is dated 1920–40 and we acquired it in 1996. Its medium is glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Victor Wiener. It is credited Gift of Victor Wiener.

It has the following markings

On bottom of box a green underglazed circle containing "MADE IN GERMANY". Scratchy brown numbers "593013-12/5(?)". Also, raised "494".
