Textile With Chef De Piece (France)

This is a Textile with chef de piece. It was made by Oberkampf & Cie.. We acquired it in 1994. Its medium is linen warp, cotton weft and its technique is block-printed. blocks for floral stripe: 30.5cm (12 in.) x 16.5cm (6 1/2 in.) blocks for geometric stripe" 30.5 cm (12 in.) x 10 cm (4 in.) block marks are visible. It is a part of the Textiles department.
