Vase (USA)

This is a vase. It was created by Theophilus Anthony Brouwer Jr. and manufactured by Brouwer Pottery and Middle Lane Pottery. It is dated 1894–1911 and we acquired it in 1984. Its medium is glazed earthenware. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by William Goodman and Marcia Goodman. It is credited Gift of Marcia and William Goodman.

Its dimensions are

H x Diam: 9.2 x 7.6 cm (3 3/4 x 3 in.)

It has the following markings

Impressed on bottom, underglaze: "M" under whale jawbone.
