Sampler (Scotland)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Isabella Campbell. It is dated 1825 and we acquired it in 1981. Its medium is silk and wool embroidery on wool foundation and its technique is embroidered in cross, stem, and satin stitches on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.
