Sampler (USA)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Maria Lamborn. We acquired it in 1941. Its medium is silk embroidery, linen foundation and its technique is embroidered in cross, satin, chain, rococo, knotting and stem stitches on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles Department department.

This object was bequest of Mrs. Henry E. Coe.
