Fragments (England)

This is a Fragments. We acquired it in 1976. Its medium is wool and its technique is warp faced plain weave foundation patterned by supplementary wefts bound to the foundation by a supplementary warp in different ways on front and back. the effect of the front is to imitate needlepoint. It is a part of the Textiles department.
