Sidewall, Bengali Bazaar

This is a sidewall. It was manufactured by Philip Graf Wallpapers, Inc.. It is dated 1965 and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is screen-printed paper. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

The simple lines of the paisley shape have been layered, echoed, and distorted to create a chaotic tumbling effect. The oversize scale of the print ensures none of the details are lost in the frenzy.

This object was donated by Philip Graf. It is credited Gift of Philip Graf.

129 x 76 cm (50 13/16 x 29 15/16 in.)

It is inscribed
