This is a Fragments. It is dated 1730–49 and we acquired it in 1962. Its medium is silk, metal and its technique is 5-harness satin foundation patterned by floats of the complementary foundation wefts and discontinuous supplementary wefts bound on the front in 1/4 twill by a supplementary warp. It is a part of the Textiles department.
