Pleated Fan, 1846
This is a Pleated fan. It is dated 1846 and we acquired it in 1956. Its medium is printed, hand-colored and gilded paper leaf, drilled and painted bone sticks with metal foil decorations, faceted stone at rivet, gilt metal bail, silk tassel, mirrors on guards. It is a part of the Textiles department.
