Textile (France)

This is a Textile. It was designed by Horace Vernet and produced by Oberkampf & Cie. and engraved by Gabriel Lemonier. It is dated 1815 and we acquired it in 1956. Its medium is cotton and its technique is printed by engraved roller and block on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Alice Glick. It is credited Gift of Alice Glick.

It has the following markings

Manufacturer's mark and the name of the printer, CREPINET, are at the bottom
