Pitcher, Cream (USA)

This is a pitcher, cream. It was made by R. & W. Wilson, Philadelphia. It is dated 1825–50 and we acquired it in 1953. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Louise B. Scott. It is credited Gift of Louise B. Scott.

H x W x D: 19.9 x 9.5 x 13.6cm (7 13/16 x 3 3/4 x 5 3/8in.)

It has the following markings

Stamped on underside: "R.& W. WILSON / PHILADA."

It is inscribed

Engraved on one side: "Gussie from Father and Mother." Monogram on opposite side: "A J(?)S(?)."
