Turban Band, Turban Band

This is a Turban band. It is dated 11th–12th century and we acquired it in 1951. Its medium is wool weft and its technique is slit tapestry. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Agnes M. O'Donnell. It is credited Museum purchase through gift of Agnes M. O'Donnell.
