Cup And Saucer, 1726–1730

This is a Cup and saucer. It was manufactured by Meissen Porcelain Factory. It is dated 1726–1730 and we acquired it in 1938. Its medium is porcelain, overglaze gilding. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Bequest of Erskine Hewitt.

a) H x diam.: 4.5 × 7.7 cm (1 3/4 × 3 1/16 in.) b) H x diam.: 2.3 × 13 cm (7/8 × 5 1/8 in.)

It has the following markings

Underglaze peach-colored mark on bottom of saucer.
