Brisé Fan

This is a Brisé fan. It is dated 1800–1830 and we acquired it in 1935. Its medium is bone sticks, gilded, painted and carved à jour, silk ribbon. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Georgiana L. McClellan. It is credited Gift of Mrs. George B. McClellan.
