A group are standing inside an arched hall. They are surrounding the bridal couple who are kneeling on a raised platform in the center of the hall. Standing before them is the presider of the ceremony who appears to be a bishop. This can be determined by the hat worn by the presider (also known as a mitre) and the shepherd's staff (known as a crozier) held in his right hand. The bishop is standing on the altar which also has a scuplted figure of Juno who is wearing a crown. The statue is located on the right side of the altar underneath a canopy. At the lower right hand corner can be seen the date and the artist's signature.

St. Jerome is seated below a tree reading a book. He is holding the book in his right hand while his left arm is restng on a large rock. To the right of St. Jerome can be seen a lion standing on the rock. The lion is turned away from the spectator and is facing the background. In the background, there are buildings located at the top of the hill while there is a bridge located between the rock and the buildings.

This object is part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design collection.

The tree is the focal point of the drawing. Upon closer view, it appears that the tree is located in the center of a calley. This can be determined by stone cliffs that appear to be surrounding the tree. To the left of the tree can be seen the head of a lion. The position of the lion's head makes it look that the lion is trying to see what is on the other side of the tree. On the right side of the tree is Saint Jerome sitting at what appears to be an improvized desk that is jutting from the tree. The Saint is writing on what appears to be pieces of paper. At the bottom center of the print can be seen the artist's signature.

In the foreground, there is a bearded figure standing by the edge of the river. In front of him, there is a eunuch kneeling in front of him. The bearded man is preparing to perform the rite of baptism. Behind the eunuch, there is another person on their knees waiting for the same rite. On the left side of the print, there is a soldier on horseback looking onto the proceedings.

Three men are seated together at a table. They can be identified as Christ and two of his disciples. Christ is identified as being on the right due to His head surrounded by rays of light. The three men are about to share a meal which is symbolized by the breaking of bread. At the lower right corner of the print, a dog can be seen approaching the table.

There is a group of men in front of a cross with rays of light being shined upon them. They are in the process of taking down a body from a cross. The men at the bottom of the cross are holding the body (which is Christ) to make sure he does not fall to the ground. At the top of the cross is a man hung over the edge of the cross holding on to the robe that is covering Christ's body as He is being taken down. There are several spectators in the foreground watching the action unfold. One of the spectators is dressed elegantly in a richly embroidered cap and Oriental turban. It is likely beleived that this spectator is Joseph of Arimathea.

Enclosed in an oval, three figures have been nailed to crosses. The central figure is Christ on HIs cross. He is flanked by two other figures who are identified as thieves. The thief on his left has his back to the spectator while the one on the right is facing Christ directly face to face. Below the crucified men are a group of figures in the foreground. All of them are showed in shadow.

Christ at his trial standing in front of Pilate who is pondering his verdict. Christ is in the background surrounded by soldiers while Pilate is the foreground. Pilate is being advised by five men who are gesturing and speaking to Pilate. All the men are dressed in elaborate robes and oriental turbans. In contrast, the soldiers are dressed in their uniforms while Christ is wearing the crown of thorns, a robe that is draped around his shoulders and undergarments. While all the discussion is taking place, Christ is staring off into the distance with a look of despair on his face. At the bottom and in the background of the print can be seen the crowds waiting to hear the final verdict of the trial.

Christ is holding his right hand against his chest while his left appears to be gesturing toward the ground or the well. The woman is leaning on top of her water bucket in a relaxed manner. There are several figures nearby who appear to take great interest in the conversation. In the far background can be seen houses and foilage of the trees.

The Virgin and the Child are seated on a cloud. Both are facing the spectator. The Virgin is holding the child in her arms. The Child is resting his head on the Virgin's right arm. Upon closer inspection, a head can be seen below the Virgin's left knee, which indicates that the was an original design but it was abandoned by the artist. The date and the artist's signature appear in the clouds located in the lower center of the print.

A lantern is hung on a tree whose light is shining upon three figures sitting in the darkness. From top to the bottom, you see Joseph sitting leaning his back on the tree. Below him is the Virgin sitting on the ground holding th Child in Her lap. To the left of the Holy Family can be see clothes that are being hung to dry on one of the roots of the tree. To the right of the Holy Family, the head of a donkey can be barely made out due to the darkness of the scene.

In the center of the frame, there is a light eminating from a lantern. The light is shining upon the face of a figure who is Joseph. To the right of Joseph, there are shadows which can be faintly seen the outlines of an animal which is a donkey. Sitting on the donkey can be the Virgin who is bearing the Child. At the lower right hand corner of the print can be seen the date and artist's signature.

An etching depicting a winged angel standing with one arm raised on a cloud haloed in light marked by striated lines. The angel is surrounded by winged cherubs who hover in a circular formation. He appears to a group of frightened shepherds and their scattering flock who gather on the side of a river bank. The etching is dramatically lit with the top left corner flooded with light and the river and landscape shrouded in dark shadows. At the right large trees are illuminated.

Joseph is sitting in the middle of the room surrounded by his family. By looking at his facial expressions, he is in the middle of telling his family about his dreams. Several family members are looking at him paying attention to his every word while others are having their own conversations. There is also a young girl, who has her back turned to the spectator, holding an open book but she is also looking directly at Joseph. In the lower left hand corner of the print is the artist's signature.

The main figure in the print is Abraham who is standing in the center. He is standing at the entranceway of a house. Behind him is a dog coming down the stairs of the entrance. He is looking down toward his right and is gesturing with his left hand toward two figures. The two figures are Hagar and Ishmael who are moving away from the house which gives the impression that Abraham is sending them away. In the top right corner of the print, although a bit faded, are the date and the artist's signature.

A stag is in the center of the print. He is looking directly at the viewer. He is lying on the ground with the front legs stretched out and the back legs tucked in. Two very long antlers are eminating from his head. In the background, there are two trees (one on each side) of the stag so it gives the print an outdoor feel. In the upper center of the print is inscribed the date and the name of the artist.

Manger scene where there are two figures looking down in adoration at the Christ Child. The Christ child is laying down in the manger. The figure on the left is St. Francis who has his arms crossed over his chest. The figure on the right is Saint Clara who has her hands above the Christ Child as a sign of reverence. All the figures have light eminating from their heads. In the lower right corner, there appears to be a metallic figure which is a monstrance which is used in Catholic Church masses to hold the bread which will become the body of Christ. At the bottom of the print there are several Latin Inscriptions.

Two angels are carrying an old man inside of a building. The old man is St. Peter Nolasque. In the background, there are several figures standing dressed in robes. These figures appear in singing in joy which gives the appearance that they are in a choir. These figures give the impression that the figures are inside a church. On the lower left of the floor there is a paper with several inscriptions on it. At the bottom of the print, there are several Latin inscriptions as well.

To their right, Joseph is kneeling and holding a piece of cloth. In the background, there is a donkey eating hay in one of the stables. In the lower left hand corner, there is a tombstone inscribed with a Latin inscription and a coat of arms.

Madonna and Child are seated in front of a tree trunk which gives the viewer the impression that this scene is taking place in the forest. Madonna is holding the child and looking down at him in a loving manner. Meanwhile, the child is looking directly at the viewer. There is also light eminating from both figures. On the right side of the Madonna and Child, there are several stones lying on the ground with several inscriptions in Latin.

On the left side of the print, three goats are located underneath the trees in the countryside. Two of the goats are laying underneath the trees while the third is on all fours nibbling on the grass. All three are looking toward the distance where several farms can be seen. On the farm closest to the goats, there appears to be two figures standing in the field where the crops are located. Behind the farms can be seen a mountain range .

Rebecca and Eliezer are having a conversation at the river's edge. Eliezer is standing while Rebecca is sitting on the edge of a stone foundation. They are surrounded by several features of nature such as groves of trees, a mountain range in the background and several types of animals. In the middle of the scene, there appears to be an abandoned wooden structure underneath a tree. There is also a bridge that spans over the river.

One of them appears to have an instrument in their hands keeping the rhythm of the music while the other two are dancing. In the background, there are animals that are looking onto the scene.
