![A large, allegorical, ovoid, porcelain vessel, resting on a twisted rope base, with a short, flared neck and removable, domed cover. On the sides of the body are two wreaths made of rope, symbolic of death and mourning, surrounding two major credit cards, which are set against a white, cloud-like ground. On the left we have a Diners Club International card, shown with a dark blue oval with a silver circle through it above the words [DINERS CLUB INTERNATIONAL]; and on the right we have a Mastercard, shown with red and yellow circles with the word [MASTERCARD] through them. In between the two wreaths is a modeled, squid-like form, with three pointed fronds at each end colored blue on a white ground, which is dotted on the right side and lined with waves on the left. On top of this, in the center of the two wreaths, is a small, pale green ball with the words [GOOD THRU 02/91] printed in black, capital letters. These elements are set against a dollar bill green puzzle-like, fragmented ground. The shoulders of the vase curve into a blue, flared neck supported by gold, three-dimensional percentage symbols, which act as handles. In the center of the neck is a black, oval, roped panel, which contains the number 19.8, symbolizing interest rates. A modeled, white ribbon has been applied to the cover which is inscribed with [CREDIT EST MORT], [CREDIT IS DEAD] in black capitals. This cover is surmounted with a finial in the form of a winged figure in a blue business suit, his head bowed and covered by his left hand, and his right hand holding a briefcase, he stands on gold coins marked with a dollar sign. The overall muted yellows, blues and greens of the vessel are reminiscent of Italian majolica pottery.
