Thin ropes in red, purple, yellow, orange, and green are knit into a tight pattern to create a large sling. The unwoven ropes at each end of the sling are gathered into cylinder covered in a yellow knit. A metal ring is attached to the cylinder with a thick rope looped through it. The rope is knotted and extends out of the image suspending the sling in the air. The knit sling dips down into a U shape. A square knit blanket is set in the center of the hammock with a corner hanging off the front edge. The blanket is made with a chunky basket weave interlaced to create a crisscross pattern in yellow, red, and purple. The backdrop for the hammock is a neutral gray. A faint shadow is created on the floor by the hammock.
