G.H.P. Cigar Company

G.H.P. Cigar Company was a Pennsylvania-based cigar company, and was also known as Factory No. 6, 12th District, PA. The company manufactured El Producto cigars, which were promoted by comedian and actor George Burns. The company was acquired by Consolidated Cigar Corporation (based in Florida) in 1926, although it continued manufacturing under the name G.H.P. Cigar Company. Consolidated Cigar Corporation merged with Altadis, S.A. in 2000.
