At the core of every SO–IL project is an attempt to invigorate the rich experience of space. Founded by Florian Idenburg (Dutch, b. 1975) and Jing Liu (Chinese, b. 1980), who were later joined by partner Ilias Papageorgiou (Greek, b. 1980), SO–IL works at a range of scales—building, interior, and installation—designing architecture that heightens awareness of place and its surroundings through a considered use of material and immaterial elements. This pared-down yet direct approach is evidenced in simple, clarified designs that host dynamic experiences.

We have 4 objects that SO-IL has been involved with.
