British designer Paul Cocksedge (b. 1978) has explored a range of innovative design methods, from design products and architectural projects to installations and sculptures. In 1997, Cocksedge earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design at Sheffield Hallam University. He then studied under Ron Arad at the Royal College of Art in London where he received a Master of Arts in Product Design in 2002. In 2004, he was nominated for Designer of the Year by London’s Design Museum and founded Paul Cocksedge Studio with partner Joana Pinho. Cocksedge has collaborated with brands such as Hermès, Sony, and Swarovski and has exhibited his designs internationally. His work can be found in the Design Museum, London; Museum of Arts and Design, New York, NY; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX; Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. He currently lives and works in London, England, UK.
