Ernesto Yerena Montejano (he/him) is an artist who focuses on subjects voicing their opinions against oppression. He is deeply influenced by his Chicano roots, and his work mirrors his observations of Mexican communities in Mexico and in the United States. He is the founder and curator of the Alto Arizona Art campaign (2010) and a founding member of the We Are Human campaign (2009). His prints are also in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
