Geneviève-Marguerite Chéreau
Print seller and publisher active between 1755 and 1768 from the Rue Saint-Jacques, Aux Deux Piliers d'or in Paris. Born probably in 1724, daughter of the printmaker, publisher and seller Jacques Chéreau (1688-1776). She married her cousin, also a printmaker and publisher, François II Chéreau (1717-1755) in 1742 and takes over his business after his death in 1755. She sells her stock to her son Jacques-Francois Chéreau (1742-1794) in 1768.
