William Watts Taylor

William Watts Taylor was born on March 19, 1847. He attended Harvard University in 1868. He became the business manager for Rookwood Pottery in 1883 and was president from 1890 until his death on November 12, 1913. He designed at least seventy of the first 500 shapes produced by the pottery.
