Dutch-born designer Tord Boontje is a graduate of both the Design Academy in Eindhoven and the Royal College of Art in London. His relatively short career (he completed his education in 1994) has thus far produced a large number of award-winning designs. His interior architecture and exhibition design include unique and limited edition works, as well as work for museums like the Victorian and Albert, and retailers as varied as Target and Hermes. Boontje's mass-produced designs include textiles for Kvadrat, tableware for Salviati, and numerous other projects. Boontje's designs are in the collections of the following museums: the Victorian and Albert, the Museum of Modern Art, SFMOMA, the St. Louis Art Museum, the Groninger Museum, and the Stedelijk in Amsterdam.
