Krejci attended the College of Industrial Design (1945-1949) in Brno and Purkyne University (1949-1950) in Brno. She was awarded a Silver Medal at the Brussels World Fair and a Gold Medal at the XII Milan Triennial. Krejci was a pioneer in her adaptation of the needle and bobbin lace tradition, creating a technique that she called “nitak” or “little threaded one;” this allowed her to draw in thread.
