Book plate showing chart fifty from the Munsell Atlas of Color Charts. The chart is formed from ten circles drawn in black as if by a compass which get prgressively larger from a small circle in the center. These circles are overlayed by sixty-four colored squares forming various sized strips inside the rings all growing from a grey square in the center. Following from the right the square strips are green, brown, orange, red, purple, blue and back to green. Each square becomes a deeper version of the color gradually mixing from grey in the center. Text in the left corner explains the chart as measuring scales of chroma and hue.
