Bracelet, Egyptian
This is a Bracelet.
This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Anonymous as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.
This Egyptian-style bracelet by Lacloche Frères of about 1924 is one of two very similar examples that could be worn as a pair. In its colors, materials, and design this bracelet reflects knowledge of King Tut’s tomb.
It is credited Private Collection.
