Sponge, from Squeaky Clean series

This is a Sponge. It was designed by Daniel Emma, Daniel To and Emma Aiston and made for Wallpaper*. It is dated 2015. Its medium is foam.

The sponge uses the same volumetric, rectangular forms seen in other objects in the Squeaky Clean series and layers them into a kind of sandwich to create an all-purpose sponge. The alternating colors of the layers—yellow, white, yellow—reinforce the boldness and simplicity of the whole collection.
