Model, Come Home Again

This is a Model. It is dated 2022. Its medium is acrylic and 3d-printed resin; installed 2022, tate modern lawn, london, uk . It is a part of the department.

“For Come Home Again, I constructed a one-third-scale replica of the dome of London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral on the lawn outside Tate Modern, facing the cathedral across the river. I filled the dome with observational drawings of 243 of the 15,000 non-human species that call London home: the Londoners most at risk of extinction. Each night, diasporic choirs sang within the structure, accompanying a soundscape of the depicted animals.”
