Brochure, Mayor Gallery

This is a Brochure. It was designed by E. McKnight Kauffer and written by Herbert Read and printed by Lund Humphries and made for (as the client) Mayor Gallery.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Simon Rendall as part of Underground Modernist: E. McKnight Kauffer.

It is dated October 1933. Its medium is lithograph. It is a part of the Exhibitions department.

The Mayor Gallery was one of London’s foremost galleries for modern art and design. Kauffer designed the cover for Art Now, showing an ancient bust with its focus trained on an eye trapped in a geometric web.

It is credited Simon Rendall Collection.

Its dimensions are

H x W: 24.8 × 18.5 cm (9 3/4 × 7 5/16 in.)

This object was previously on display as a part of the exhibition Underground Modernist: E. McKnight Kauffer.
