A grey and teal striped women's bathing costume with teal trunks, displayed on a dress form mannequin -- a headless, armless and legless form which goes from the neck to below the hips. Known as the 'California-style' suit, it features a knitted, tubular silhouette with a scoop-necked, long, sleeveless top. The stripes are edged with a thin, dark blue outline, and contrast stitching in a turquoise blue is visible along the neckline and V-shaped arm opening. The top extends to nearly the bottom of the solid teal trunks, which appear to be stitched to the top around the waistline. The supporting metal rod and black height adjustment knob are visible, protruding from the trunk leg on the viewer's right. The object's background is a soft, cool grey tone.
