Teapot And Lid (Russia), 2005
This is a Teapot and lid. It was designed by Eva Zeisel. It is dated 2005 and we acquired it in 2006. Its medium is molded, glazed porcelain. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Zeisel collaborated with a number of ceramics manufacturers around the world. This white ovoid teapot with a fluted opening and delicately arched handle was manufactured in Russia by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (formerly the Imperial Porcelain Factory).
It is credited Gift of Peter Kahane.
