Sampler (England)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Rebecca Buse. It is dated 1814 and we acquired it in 2003. Its medium is silk embroidery, wool warp, linen weft and its technique is embroidered in satin and stem stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
