The right half of the card features a classical sculptural head in black and beige, with curly hair and a beard that appear to be made of stone, against a pale blue background. The face turns up and to the left towards a lone white star. A left facing right angle is formed by a white vertical line from just above the top of the head on the right to the nape of the neck and a black horizontal line running along the nape of the neck to just past the chin. On the left half of the card is a dark cream silhouette of the head in reverse, now facing to the right, on top of which is a handwritten inscription which states [Most dear Anita - / I am touched by your message. / My love and best wishes for / '53 / Yours / Ted]. The bottom of the letter 'd' of 'Ted' is exaggerated and extends down to almost the nape of the silhouette's neck where we find the designers name printed in capital letters, (apart from the c), in black ink: [E.
