This is a haircomb. It is dated ca. 1930 and we acquired it in 1997. Its medium is molded and painted cellulose nitrate with applied glass pastes. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Museum purchase from Eleanor G. Hewitt Fund.
