Drawing, Design for a Gazebo and Terrace Garden
Drawing, Design for a Gazebo and Terrace Garden
Watercolor drawing of a design for a fenced in terrace garden and a gazebo. Steps lead down from the terrace to two plant beds surrounded by walkways. Each plant bed has small oval shrubs at each of its corners. The larger bed in the foreground has a low ledge design forming a T with two parallel hedges on either side and a vertical one on top. Lining the fence on either side of the garden is a strip of grass and red dirt. Small box hedges are planted in a row atop the red dirt with shrubs in between. The shrubs have tall thin trunks and are topped with pink flowers and green leaves a circular shape. The fence is filled with a windowpane lattice and is topped with red. Tall, lush trees filled with dark to light greens fill the area behind the fence. At the far end is a gazebo that is the width of the garden. It is a rectangular shape with a red peaked roof. Inside is a lattice design in red. Beyond the gazebo to the left is a building. Grass leads to a conical evergreen tree with blue skies and clouds in the distance.
