This is a Dinner plate. It was gilded by vd and manufactured by Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. It is dated ca. 1788 and we acquired it in 1986. Its medium is enameled and gilt soft paste porcelain. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mrs. John Jay Ide. It is credited The John Jay Ide Collection.

Its dimensions are

Factory mark with "KK"; painter's mark in blue, unidentified; gilder's mark "vd" in gold.
