Fragment (Peru)

This is a Fragment. It is dated 700–900 and we acquired it in 1949. Its medium is wool and its technique is single interlock 1:1, with subtle use of non-horizontal weft double faced. It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of Erskine Hewitt.
