Pleated Fan (France)

This is a Pleated fan. It was manufactured by Alouïse van de Voord. It is dated 1885–90 and we acquired it in 1942. Its medium is cotton bobbin lace leaf backed with silk, pierced and carved ivory sticks, silk tassel. It is a part of the Textiles department.
