Sampler (Spain), 1826

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Juliana Ximenez Cruz. It is dated 1826 and we acquired it in 1941. Its medium is silk embroidery on linen foundation and its technique is cross, counted satin, square, fishbone and stem stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
