Textile (France)

This is a Textile. It is dated mid–late 18th century and we acquired it in 1979. Its medium is linen, cotton and its technique is block printed and painted on plain weave (yellow applied by block but the blue seems to have been applied by brush). It is a part of the Textiles department.
