Textile, Les Quatre Elements

This is a Textile. It was designed by Bonaventure M. Lebert and produced by Hartmann et Fils. It is dated ca. 1810 and we acquired it in 1978. Its medium is cotton and its technique is printed by engraved copper plate on plain weave; mordant for red on white. It is a part of the Textiles department.
