Head Covering

This is a Head covering. It is dated early–mid-19th century and we acquired it in 1974. Its medium is linen and its technique is bobbin lace, late valencienne ground. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mary Carothers and Charles de Limur. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Mary Carothers and Charles de Limur in memory of Ethel Mary de Limur.
